
I am a life-long labor relations professional who believes in the collective bargaining process and the rights of unions and management as negotiated in the collective bargaining agreement. There are times when this process requires a neutral third party, and that’s where my role as a neutral mediator becomes crucial. With over 35 years of experience in collective bargaining, including 20 years as a busy working neutral, I assist unions and management in resolving disputes and fostering effective collaboration. My mediation services encompass both traditional (transactional) and more facilitative (integrative) approaches, as well as labor arbitration, and proactive strategies such as labor-management committees and interest-based bargaining and problem-solving.
